Vetting Inspection Course (VIC)
This Module Course is designed to prepare ship officers in the administration of vetting inspection on their respective vessels as specified under the Inspection guidelines and standards developed by the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) members, based on international conventions such as SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW etc. and industryaccepted technical guidance such as ISGOTT (International Safety Guide for Oil Tankers and Terminals) and other international standards.

Entry Standards:
This course is primarily intended for all Ship Officers who are subject for embarkation to any type of Tanker Vessels.
Certificate of Training:
On successful completion of the course and active participation in group work, a document shall be issued certifying that the holder has completed a course of training in Vetting Inspection Course
