MANAGEMENT LEVEL COURSE FOR MARINE ENGINEERS

Function 1: Marine Engineering at the Management Level

This course is designed to comply with the requirements of the 1978 International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping as amended in 1995 (STCW ’95). This intends to address the provisions of the STCW Code Table AIII/ 2 under the Function: Marine Engineering at the Management Level. The aforesaid requirements are further detailed in the IMO Model Course 7.02, Function 1, which necessitates strengthening of the fundamental knowledge in marine engineering.

Function 2: Electrical, Electronic and Control Engineering at the Management Level

This Module Course is designed to comply with the requirements of the 1978 International Convention of Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping as amended in 1995 (STCW ’95) particularly on the provisions stated there in for Function 2: Electrical, Electronics and Control Engineering at the Management Level. The aforesaid requirements are further detailed in the STCW Code Table AIII/ 2, under Function 2: Electrical, Electronics and Control Engineering at the Management Level.

Function 3: Maintenance and Repair at the Management Level

This Module Course is designed to comply with the requirements of the 1978 International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping as amended in 1995 (STCW ’95) particularly on the provisions stated there in for Function 3: Maintenance and Repair at the Management Level. The aforesaid requirements are further detailed in the STCW Code Table AIII/ 2, and this module course shall address particular requirements on how to Organize Safe Maintenance and Repair Procedures, and How to Detect and Identify Machinery Malfunctions.

MANAGEMENT LEVEL COURSE FOR MARINE ENGINEERS

Function 4: Controlling The Operation Of The Ship And Care For Persons On Board At The Management Level

This approved training course for chief engineer and second engineer officer covers the requirements of paragraph 2.2 of Regulation III/2 of the 1978 STCW Convention as amended in 1995 and Section AIII/ 2 of the STCW Code for the function Marine Engineering at the Management Level.
