Shipboard Management and Leadership

This Module Course is designed to provide an ample understanding on Shipboard Management, Management and the Shipping Company. Significant emphasis shall also be given to Management topics such as Managerial issues, Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Group Dynamics, Communication, Controlling & Leadership.

Entry Standards:

The course is intended for those likely to take up senior positions on board ships, particularly for Masters, Chief Engineer fficers, Chief Officers and 2nd Engineer Officers. It will also be suitable for serving senior officers of ships, who have not had the benefit of attending such a course previously. This course can also cater junior officers who are groomed to become ships and company senior officers.

Certificate of Training:

Successful Trainees shall be awarded with certificates of completion, attesting to their successful completion of the ourse. A Certificate of attendance shall be given to those who were not able to complete the requirements of the course.
