Shipboard Environmental Management System

This Module Course is designed to address environmental concerns on pollution from ships. It shall address certain provisions of the Marpol 73/78 and the ISM Code, particularly on the awareness on environmental concerns from ship operation and incorporation of Environmental processes in the ship’s Management System. Significantly, this course shall present the ISO 14001 as the model for the Shipboard Environmental Management System.

Entry Standards:

This course is primarily intended for all Navigating, Marine Engineering and Catering Officers that are at present employed as such.

Certificate of Training:

Successful Trainees shall be awarded with certificates of completion, attesting to their successful completion of the course. A Certificate of attendance shall be given to those who were not able to complete the requirements of the course.
